Peticija upućena: Petitionsausschuss des Europäischen Parlaments

The petitioner calls for legislation requiring all public buildings to be fitted out with solar panels and corresponding electricity storage facilities and possibly charging points for public and private vehicles. This would constitute effective climate protection, with the government leading by example, supporting the economy and industry through the demand generated while lowering the cost of mass production of solar panels and creating jobs. It would also save taxpayers money in the long term, support local communities, create charging stations of which there still is a dearth and create an incentive for private individuals to purchase an electric vehicle.
