On the need to revoke the United Kingdom decision to leave the EU notified under Article 50 TEU

The petitioner is calling on the EU to do everything possible to uphold the rights and interests of those British citizens who wish to retain EU citizenship. Given that the Court of Justice has found that the Vote Leave campaign broke the law, he maintains that the referendum is void and the Article 50 notification, therefore, is likewise invalid. He takes the view that the European Parliament should not recognise any British decision based on this illegal campaign. He asks whether the notification could be rejected by the EU instead of being revoked by the UK itself.
