On alleged breach of the article 20(2)(b) of TFEU by the UK

The petitioner complains that . in order to be able to vote at the European elections on 23 May 2019, citizens of certain Members States had tocomplete a special registration form –‘European Parliament voter registration form’- even if they were already included in the electoral register. In petitioner’s view, it has been discriminatory for the non-UK EU citizens who were effectively required to register twice. Secondly, he points out to the fact that citizens holding dual citizenship (UK along with the Republic of Ireland, Malta and Cyprus) were not obliged to complete such a form.
