On behalf of the ‘Comunidad de Montes Vecinales en Mano Común de Tameiga’, on the general municipal development plan for Mos, Pontevedra, Galicia  

Petition addressed to: Petitionsausschuss des Europäischen Parlaments

The petitioner calls for a halt to changes to the general municipal development plan for Mos that would alter its planning use from protected rural forestry land to building land in order to develop there the Real Club Celta de Vigo football club’s sports complex and a large business park. The petitioner says this would entirely alter the traditional use of this land as forest, putting the private interests of the Real Club Celta de Vigo above the protection and safeguarding of the forestry assets on this land.
