The petitioner claims that, in view of a road construction project linked to Federal Road 147 in Upper Austria, the authorities have decided that a corridor for potential roadbuilding should be made available which runs through a wet meadow area in the municipality of Lengau, where it has been shown that some butterfly species occur that are protected under the Habitats Directive. He alleges that the strategic environmental impact assessment and the nature impact assessment conducted by the competent authority were defective. For example, they gave insufficient consideration to alternatives, and the relevance of the concerned butterfly species was assessed wrongly.
