The petitioner calls for mutual assistance and solidarity in combating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of the aid directive. In the framework of this directive, every citizen of the European Union would receive EUR 5,000 non-refundable aid, in particular people who have been dismissed from work, farmers, single mothers, pensioners, homeless people and those who do not have the means to live. In addition, every farmer operating in the European Union would receive a non-repayable grant of EUR 50,000 per farm in order not to go bankrupt as a result of the financial crisis and thus not to stop food production. Each company would receive a non-repayable grant of EUR 50,000 to avoid bankruptcy as a result of the financial crisis and not to dismiss employees. Each Member State would receive a non-repayable financial assistance to the health care services for respirators and other medical equipment needed to save people in relation to coronavirus. By agreement with financial institutions, loan repayments would be suspended (loans granted to the MS and loans to EU nationals) for a period of 6 months. Finally, the petitioner calls for a resolution uniting all the countries of the European Union in the fight against coronavirus.
