On “no-go” territories in the EU

In the petitioner’s opinion the so called “no-go” territories, over which the Member States have no control (such as collection of taxes, sanitary services, courts, police, army), are emerging in European countries. In the so-called “no-go” territories of the Member States, there is no control over the accumulation of weapons of all kinds, drugs, prostitution, paedophilia, and other activities, that are fundamental breaches of the EU and national law. They constitute a fundamental violation of the sovereignty of the Member States and of the EU as a whole. In his view, this development is a major security threat for NATO and a fundamental attack on the EU citizens, causing discrimination or different treatment of people living in the EU. The petitioner calls for a prompt establishment of sovereignty over the so-called “no-go” territories, to fully implement the legislation of the EU and of the Member States by all means provided for by the legislation, including emergency situations.
