Petitsioon on adresseeritud: Petitionsausschuss des Europäischen Parlaments

The petitioner calls upon the European Parliament to ban all fur farming in Europe and fur imports coming from third countries, mainly China and Canada. The petitioner states that more than 5000 fur farms in Europe breed minks, foxes, chinchillas and rabbits in dreadful conditions before violently slaughtering them. The petitioner also claims that, due to the use of toxic products, the fur industry is one of the most polluting in the world, both for the environment and humans.
