Bearing 2 signatures, on the revision of Regulation (EU) No 168/2013 on the approval and market surveillance of two- or three-wheel vehicles and quadricycles

The petitioner requests the revision of Regulation No 168/2013 in order to impose- that the brake hoses on Anti-lock Braking (ABS) systems be only fitted with standard banjo unions at both ends of flexible brake hoses, standards to be determined and that durability measures for ABS Modulator / Pump units and ABS Electronic Control Units backed by a mandated extended warranty of at least 160,000km and that the ABS systems are switchable on/off in use. In addition, the petitioner provides a series of technical information points that in this opinion the impact assessment of any revision of Regulation No 168/2013 should include.
