La peticionaria tiene un hijo. Al igual que su hijo y el padre de este, la peticionaria es de nacionalidad polaca y reside en Alemania. El procedimiento judicial relativo al régimen de visitas al menor se inició supuestamente con la participación de un intérprete que no estaba autorizado para trabajar con las autoridades judiciales. Asimismo, la Jugendamt está adoptando una actitud obstructora con respecto al procedimiento relativo al régimen de visitas.
