La firmataria ritiene che la compensazione pecuniaria di 250 EUR stabilita dal regolamento (CE) n. 261/2004 in caso di negato imbarco per voli di 1 500 chilometri o meno dovrebbe essere aumentata in quanto insufficiente. La firmataria spiega che tale importo ridotto spinge le compagnie aeree a optare in modo abusivo per la pratica dell'overbooking.
