Andrageren mener, at den kompensation på 250 EUR, der blev indført ved forordning (EF) nr. 261/2004 i tilfælde af boardingafvisning for flyvninger på 1 500 km eller mindre, bør opjusteres, fordi den er utilstrækkelig. Andrageren oplyser, at det lave beløb tilskynder luftfartsselskaberne til at vælge praksissen med overbookning på en urimelig måde.
