The petitioner protests the decision of the administration of the condominium where he lives to install continuous video surveillance at the entry into the building. He argues that this is in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), since he and his potential guests do not give their consent to be filmed and their data to be processed. The petitioner calls on the EU to provide guidance on the application of the GDPR in this respect, or else risk to have a non-homogenous application of the privacy rules in the various Member States.
