On the need to promote the installation of guardrails throughout the European Union 

Petition addressed to: Petitionsausschuss des Europäischen Parlaments

The petitioner calls for the installation of guardrails to protect cyclists and motorcyclists to be made a top priority, and for the EU to push for such safeguards to become national law, and for it to ensure that this form of protection is implemented properly. It is the petitioner’s view that a European area for effective and real road safety should be developed. Furthermore, the petitioner states that road users face discrimination according to the vehicle they drive.
