On discrimination by eBay against buyers from Romania

The petitioner denounces eBay for discriminating against buyers from Romania. The petitioner had intended to buy, on the aforementioned platform, certain items from Japan the sale of which is not restricted in the EU and the transport of which (compact discs) does not pose any risk. The petitioner points out that the seller has no difficulties in selling to Romania but eBay blocks his bid because deliveries to Romania are restricted. The petitioner states that the seller sells the same product to many other Member States unhindered. The petitioner denounces the fact that eBay blocks bids from Romania, Bulgaria and Latvia.
