The initial goal of 5000 signatures has already been achieved.

Based on this success, it seems not too bold to raise the bar to 10000 signatures.

The current developments in the Swiss/EU negotiations on HORIZON 2020

show that the petition is very timely and most important to give the scientists, which are the ones most affected by any decisions on the association of Switzerland to HORIZON 2020, a voice.
