Stop the Sale of Mistral AI Outside the EU

Mistral AI must remain in European hands.
We call on the European Commission, the French government, and the founders of Mistral AI to prevent the sale of this strategic AI company to non-European actors – especially tech giants like Apple.
Mistral AI represents Europe's strongest opportunity to shape artificial intelligence on its own terms: open-source, transparent, and aligned with democratic values. Selling it to a US corporation would set back Europe's technological sovereignty and global competitiveness.
Mistral was built in Europe – it should stay in Europe.
We demand:
A public response from the European Commission regarding this potential acquisition
Political commitment to protect key technologies like AI from foreign takeovers
A clear signal from France and the EU to block any sale to Apple or similar non-European companies
