Il firmatario afferma che la Bayerischer Rundfunk, un'emittente radiotelevisiva statale finanziata mediante canone in Germania, ha una politica interna che non consente di acquistare film da persone di età superiore a 65 anni. È del parere che tale politica non sia compatibile con le norme dell'UE riguardanti la discriminazione in base all'età. Sottolinea inoltre che in Germania l'età di pensionamento viene gradualmente innalzata a 67 anni.
