The petitioner complains about the rates applied by the air company Air Corsica to flights from Nice to Calvi. In fact, the petitioner points out a difference in pricing, as citizens departing from Calvi enjoy a preferential rate while citizens departing from Nice do not. In the petitioner’s view, this pricing policy is only possible because Air Corsica is in a situation of monopoly regarding the Nice-Calvi air liaison. Therefore, the petitioner calls on the European Union to ensure that the unfair pricing policy of Air Corsica comes to an end.
