The petitioner states that the network of charging points is currently being expanded throughout Europe, and that, in order for bidirectional charging – i.e. charging electric vehicles from charging columns and vice versa – to be possible, there should be a European regulation to make it obligatory for charging columns to be equipped with this technology.
