The petitioner complains of the construction of rafts of dredged material in protected zones on the coast of Huelva (zones LIC, ZEPA). These rafts are located on the right bank of the Huelva estuary at the confluence of the rivers Tinto and Odiel, within protected natural areas belonging to the Marismas del Odiel, one of the most important salt marshes in Europe that has a continuous link with the river marshes of Doñana via areas protected by the declaration of CIS zones within the Natura 2000 network. He requests that the construction of these rafts of dredged material be stopped, returning the protected habitats to their original state in a zone that is as sensitive as the Huelva coast.
