On behalf of Haringey Welcome Organisation, on safeguarding fundamental rights of migrants and refugees after Brexit 

The petitioner expresses her concerns about the consequences of Brexit for migrants and refugees, who are already in a vulnerable situation. The petitioner believes that the policies and measures adopted by the British Government in preparation of Brexit do not safeguard the fundamental rights of migrants and refugees, and are in breach of the EU Charter of fundamental rights. The petitioner also laments the negative consequences for EU children, who will have to apply to the EU settlement scheme, thus facing the risk to lose their rights.
