Andrageren slår til lyd for en omfattende mærkningspligt for pels med en klar angivelse af dyret, bedriften og oprindelsen. Dette bør også gælde for beklædningsgenstande, hvor der kun anvendes små mængder pels. Den nuværende angivelsespligt ville ikke længere finde anvendelse. Overholdelsen af mærkningskravet bør også kontrolleres regelmæssigt.
