As victims or relatives of psychiatry in Heidelberg, we see and experience every day the suffering and the consequences that the treatment, which in our view is driven by greed for profit, has brought upon our lives, and we are committed to an honest clarification that restores to the victims their dignity and at least some of the opportunities robbed from them by the health damaged by the clinic and the botched life. We expressly reject all forms of violence and agitation. Out of our own concern, we are in favour of honest, high-quality information.
We deplore the following abuses:
Have you or a loved one been harmed by this clinic?
- Misdiagnoses (particularly frequent psychosis diagnoses, which are in reality trauma disorders, with the aim of giving psychotropic drugs for life and requesting compulsory care; alcohol and drug intoxication immediately leads to a psychosis diagnosis and the administration of neuroleptics! THIS is a serious malpractice and violates the guidelines and all medical ethics.
- Severe disability due to misdiagnosis
the director bills her own pockets for treatments that she has had assistant doctors carry out (criminal offence!)
- Treatment documentation riddled with lies that conceal the real condition of the patient; if you demand correction, you are either ignored or "stalled" by the clinic's cunning lawyers
- Attempt by the director to bill and collect for treatments by assistant doctors herself
- No psychotherapy during several weeks of treatment, although this is advertised
- Psychotherapy treatments that are never carried out but are stated in the treatment documents in order to feign professional treatment
Refusal to clarify the treatment, "being held back", false promises of alleged corrections to the documents that never materialise
- Victims of sexualised and physical violence are accused by the clinic of lying (it is impossible to put into words what this means for the victims - written evidence is available)
- Overdoses of psychotropic drugs
- Permanent sedation, which is labelled as successful treatment; no treatment of causes only immobilisation with psychotropic drugs
- Incapacity to work due to incorrect treatment; often referred to as "fateful" by clinic lawyers
- Alcoholised, drug-induced patients are diagnosed with psychosis on the first day; and immediately administered neuroleptics, which are constantly increased in dosage This is a serious cardinal error and does not conform to guidelines
Children and adolescents are left in unacceptable family situations; the clinic does not intervene and "certifies" the abused children and adolescents as having delusional disorders
-relatives are denied access to the patients, relatives are deliberately excluded from the treatment in order to make it easier to place patients under care
- Attempts are immediately made to place patients under care and to incapacitate them
We ask you to sign our petition so that human dignity is once again respected in Heidelberg psychiatry. So that you too can be sure that the same thing will not happen to you. Please also read the many google reviews that document a clear picture of the abuses.
We have joined forces, together with legal assistance and a couple of doctors from Heidelberg, because only together can we turn this clinic around.
We demand a new directorate for psychiatry in Heidelberg and an independent investigation by a committee of enquiry.
