Da elektrische Kleinstfahrzeuge eine stark expandierende Industrie darstellen, verhindert die deutsche Regelung die Entstehung von Know How und Arbeitsplätzen in dieser Branche. Des weiteren würde eine Zulassung von EKF auch finanzell schwächeren Mitbürgern, welche sich kein KFZ leisten können, eine kostengünstige Alternative bieten.

Schnelle und einfache alternative für kurze bis mittelweite Wege zum nächsten Suppermarkt, der Schule oder zum Arbeitsplatz. Autos und Busse kosten auf dauer viel Geld (verweise auf Spritkosten, Wartungskosten) desweiteren sind sie ein großer Bestandteil der Feinstaubbelastung.

Geringere Lärmbelastung

Durch den Einsatz von Elektrokleinstfahrzeugen kann die Lärmbelastung im Stadtverkehr sowie in Wohngebieten erheblich reduzieren. Obwohl es verboten ist, lässt sich immer wieder unnötiges Lärmen feststellen. Dabei handelt es sich nach § 30 StVO (inkl. Verwaltungsvorschrift) auszugsweise um: - Fahrzeugmotoren unnötig laufen lassen - Fahrzeugtüren übermäßig laut schließen - Unnützes Hin- und Herfahren innerhalb geschlossener Ortschaften - Unnötig schnelles Beschleunigen des Fahrzeugs Diese Aspekte treten bei der Nutzung von EKF nicht auf.
