We definetely need these bicycle routes. Since e bikes were invented most of the counter arguments have been nullified. Long distance, steep slopes no problem any more. Its the cars that need to disapear from the city center and not the bicycles. Bicycles/trains/buses/subways and perhaps e-scooters can coexist just fine once the majority of the cars have been removed. Added bonus; people will save enormous amounts of $$$ that they spend on cars over ~ 60 years.
