Promotion of Russian literature in the European Union

Reason for blocking:

Offensive, derogatory and discriminatory petitions will be terminated and blocked. This includes, but is not limited to, insults, degradation and discrimination based on gender, age, appearance, origin, social status, religion, disability, marital status or sexual orientation.

You can not demand a general ban of Russian literature. It is necessary to specify which group of authors (e.g. Kremlin propagandists) you want to ban, because else your petition could be interpreted as an attempt to erease a whole cultural identity. We want to add, that not every Russian writer is a supporter of the ongoing war and by demanding a ban of all Russian authors you would also ban critical voices, because there is no differentiation.

Help us to strengthen citizen participation. We want to support your petition to get the attention it deserves while remaining an independent platform.
