Předkladatel(ka) uvádí, že úrovně znečištění ovzduší ve Valencii jsou mnohem vyšší než povolené úrovně podle právních předpisů EU (směrnice 2008/50/ES o kvalitě vnějšího ovzduší a čistším vzduchu v Evropě) a ohrožují zdraví obyvatel. Předkladatel(ka) se rovněž ohrazuje proti hlukovému znečištění způsobenému městskou dopravou.
