Andrageren anfører, at niveauet af luftforurening i byen Valencia er langt højere end tilladt af EU-lovgivningen (direktiv 2008/50/EF om luftkvaliteten og renere luft i Europa) og bringer befolkningens sundhed i fare. Andrageren protesterer også over støjforurening forårsaget af bytrafik.
