Stop the ITUC & co paper tiger campaign against the #Beijing2022 Olympic Games & the OlympicTruce,  with claims s.a.
\\\'Ahead of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the ITUC is demanding that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) guarantee the security and safety of athletes and all others who are attending the Games;\\\'
But this is guaranteed by the Olympic Truce signed before every Olympic Games at the General Assembly of the United Nations by the diplomats of all the countries. 
Aren\\\'t some like the ITUC very quick to call upon boycotts?
Humanity has few events that bring us all together; you know any? The passing from Old to New Year? Maybe the 17#GlobalGoals and the UN Observances with the World Days-Years and Decades? The Universal Rights - but do we celebrate them?
The teams behind the Olympic Truce, the Olympic Games or the Paralympics are a worldwide network of mostly ex-athletes not governments - probably fortunately.
Should we expect them to solve everything or should we support them to shine their light and inspire to transcendent, because such events are more fragile than we think.
The Olympic Truce, the Olympic Games or the Paralympics are not for granted:
The ancient did better: From -776 BCE to 393 ACE, the Olympic Truce and Games held stand - that\\\'s some 1,200 years, making it the most durable peace accord in history. In 393 ACE, a Roman Emperor abolished the Games as part of his efforts to suppress paganism.
Then it stayed dead for ages - many wars came and went until the Olympic spirit was picked up again after yet another war in 1821 and in 1896, the Olympic Games took place. And it lasted only till 1944 - when humanity screwed it up again with the Second (!) World War - hardly 50 years later... And a couple of years later we managed to screw things up AGAIN during the Cold War - like little children: 1 group boycotted the games as they were held in their sphere of influence and 4 years later it was the other way round.
What kind of people with an anti-social personality disorder are these?! And we let them get away with that?!
The 5 circles of the Olympic Flag represent the 5 continents joined together to symbolize peace and friendship among all people in the world. The Olympic Flame symbolizes the light of the spirit of the Olympic Games, humanities\\\'wisdom and Life.
Sport cannot impose peace, but it might inspire it, and bring the light in spite of where politics only are anno 2022. Please press the button & share the cause. Thank you
