Petition addressed to: Committee on Petitions (Petitionsausschuß)

Considering the fact the Russia started the war against Ukraine and the fact that the origin of the word "Rus" [rus'] originates from Kyiv (Kievan) Rus' which is the capital of Ukraine, I am suggesting denying Russia the use of the word root "rus" in its title and renaming the country to its original historical name - Moskovia, the Duchy of Moscow, Moscowian Federation or similar. The war against the original Rus' is a clear indication that Moskovia wants to distant itself from it.
The petition is to rename the country of Russia on all EU maps and location services.

Reason

This will be a fair solution for the country of Russia that was self-named after an older country of Kievan Rus'.
Russia considers Rus', its culture and heritage to be its enemies, and for that matter helping Russia return to its original roots would be the correct thing to do.
