Petition addressed to: EU Council

Kids and younger generations are becoming more and more addicted to screens, games and social media, even worst thanks to habits and usage model emerged during pandemics. We urgently need to develop policies, guidelines and other support tools for parents, teachers, all caregivers and for anyone else directly involved in educational and care activities.

Reason

I'm Alessandro Efrem Colombi, a father, a pedagogy professor and a promoter of digital education values since more than 30 years. My biggest concern is that our kids might never be able to get all the good that can come from a mindful use of the Web (not the Internet we keep on referring to, since that's the infrastructure and not what we mostly use) and simply and sadly become perfect consumers, waiting just for the next dopamine rush staring at their personal screen-based world.
