Petiționara solicită interzicerea totală a utilizării microfibrelor. Ea susține că microfibrele sunt invizibile, plutesc în mediul înconjurător și sunt inhalate. Acestea poluează mările și ajung în mâncare. Microfibrele sunt periculoase din cauza dimensiunii lor foarte reduse.
