On the obligation of frontier workers to register for health insurance in two Member States

The petitioner calls for the abolishment of the obligatory health insurance for frontier workers, as these workers are insured in their Member State of residence under its health insurance regime. According to the petitioner, such workers do not use any health care in the Member State where they work. He refers to case law to justify that citizens cannot be obliged to register for an insurance they do not want.
