The petitioner warns for the increase of diabetes and other diseases related to high sugar consumption. The petitioner proposes that products mandatorily show on their labels the amount of sugar they contain as a percentage of the total content The purpose of this measure is to raise awareness among the population of the health risks of high sugar consumption.
