The petitioner claims that the high demand for air travel plummets around the world has led to carriers operating planes with no passengers, burning uselessly fuel, just to hold their flight slots. The petitioner asks the Parliament to act on this, and to endeavour changing this general rule, as it infringes the commitments in the Paris agreement.
