On modification of the EU driving licence model

The Petitioner proposes to amend Directive 2006/126/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 December 2006 on driving licences by amending the possibility of including a blood type in that document. According to the Petitioner, this information is important as it can save the driver's life in many cases. The change may be mandatory or optional, but under the current legal situation, such a change is not admissible.
