The petitioner expresses concern at the problems and obstacles faced by the deaf and hard of hearing in everyday life. He calls for the implementation of the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Directive 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services. He argues that new technologies should be used to promote the inclusion of those concerned instead of creating more barriers.
