The petition relates to an intervention of the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, on the Citizenship income, made on the Rai News on 23 October 2018. The petitioner complains about comments made by the President which, he believes, are contrary to Union law and must be formally condemned by the Parliament. The petitioner conceives the comments discriminatory towards Romani people, and incitement to hatred.
