On behalf of Organic Farmers Association and 50 other NGOs, on wild game and carnivores management in the EU

The petitioner expresses concern about the unfavourable conditions for farming in Slovenia due to existing policies in the field of wild game and carnivore management and overpopulation of large game, especially deer and wild boars. He argues that the current policy of co-existence with large carnivores is conflicting with traditional methods of farming. The petitioner is calling to put in place adequate measures in this field, and therefore support stable traditional farming, especially in areas with difficult farming conditions.
