On an alleged discrimination in Denmark for international marriages

The petitioner laments that a Danish citizen, who wishes to marry a non-EU national, must go through a long and expensive process, with many requirements. He claims that, if an EU (not Danish) citizen has married a third country national and the couple wants to settle in Denmark, the process is much less cumbersome. In the petitioner’s view, the Danish government discriminates against its own citizens.
