The petitioner bought an e-bay video surveillance camera from a seller from the United Kingdom (the camera was manufactured at the United Kingdom). He did his trade within the EU, paid within the EU, but DHL delivery and the Customs of the Republic of Croatia, compulsorily withhold purchased goods and wanted to charge customs three times the value of the camera itself. He argues that such a method of customs duty for a product purchased in the EU prevents any trade.
