Andrageren opfordrer til en forbedring af tværnationale togforbindelser i Den Europæiske Union. Efter hans opfattelse vil et sådant forbedret internationalt jernbanesystem bidrage til bekæmpelsen af klimaændringer. Andrageren anmoder også om mere gunstige og konkurrencedygtige vilkår i forhold til flyrejser, f.eks. med hensyn til bestilling af billetter og beskatning.
