Mainland-based Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality Ltd aims to open its "Mirage by MGM Shanghai" hotel in Shanghai in 2027, according to a post on Chinese social media platform WeChat.

The company is a joint venture between Diaoyutai State Hall of China and U.S.-based gaming and hospitality group MGM Resorts International. The latter is the majority shareholder of Macau casino operator MGM China Holdings Ltd. 에볼루션 바카라사이트

The Shanghai project announcement followed a signing ceremony Sunday attended by MGM Resorts CEO and President Bill Hornbuckle, third from right, and MGM Resorts Chief Legal and Administrative Officer John McManus, second from right.

MGM Shanghai's Miraju will be Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality's third Shanghai hotel to showcase MGM-related brands. The existing accommodations are Bellagio Shanghai and MGM Shanghai West Bund, which opened in 2018 and 2023, respectively.

MGM Shanghai's mirage features 205 rooms, and the property will be in one of AXIOM Yunji Shanghai's two towers. The latter is the commercial and leisure complex of real estate developer Tishman Spear.

The Diaoyutai - MGM venture has been adding hotel capacity in mainland China in recent years. The company previously announced plans to open hotels in Shenzhen and Zhuhai cities in Guangdong province, close to Macau.

In June last year, we opened two hotels in Qingdao, Shandong Province in eastern China.

Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality is currently promoting the hotel and residence brands of Diaoyutai Hotel, Bellagio by MGM, Mirage by MGM, Mhub by MGM, and mx by MGM on the mainland.
