After moving back and forth between middle blockers, apogit and outside heaters, he fixed his position as an outside heater from the 2021-2022 season, helping Hyundai Engineering & Construction win the integrated title this season.

Prior to the opening of the 2023-2024 season, he started playing in the court in earnest from the second round due to injury to his shin during the call-up of the national team. He played in 115 games and recorded 254 points (34.09% success rate) and 30.65% reception efficiency.

It was included in Group B (more than 50 million won per year and less than 100 million won per year), which only required compensation, not Group A (more than 100 million won per year), which had to pay 200% of the previous season's annual salary and one of the six protected players set by the club, or paid 300% of the previous season's annual salary, but agreed to continue with Hyundai Engineering & Construction.
