Petition addressed to: legislation Committee in EU

My name is Mason Wood and my wife Lisa Zhang is from ChangChun, China. Last week, we watched a documentary named "Eternal Spring", directed by a Canadian film producer Jason Loftus, which made my wife feel racial discrimination. That documentary includes many ‘ugly’ Asian cartoon images and intends to fuel racial tensions here. In addition, my wife said the story is not true and completely fake.

The cartoonist Daxiong, who illustrated this documentary, was a Chinese. Maybe now he acquires Canadian nationality, but he cannot deny that he is completely an Asian. I don’t know why an Asian creates those images which may also lead to discrimination on himself. Racial discrimination in the world is rising. Please stop spreading racist videos and comments from now on.

The stories in the documentary are not real and cannot be verified. One thing is for certain that both the Canadian film producer Jason Loftus and the cartoonist Daxiong are Falun Gong followers. It is an evil cult, which has been outlawed in 1999. The followers’ spirits are controlled, claiming they could remove their sickness with "magical power" instead of seeing doctors. Many people are killed by the cult. Falun Gong members have repeatedly hijacked Chinese satellite signals, sabotaged cable TV transmission lines, and broken into television broadcasts. They should be arrested by authorities but still at large. Also, the Falun Gong sponsored newspaper, “the Epoch Times”, incited violence in the Capitol riot and spread various fake news.

It’s time to stop those people who continuously spread fake news and racism. Jason Loftus, Daxiong and all those documentary makers should take responsibility for their own actions. I have the duty to protect my wife and my family. I call for all Asians and other people work together against racism.
Innocent people, especially young people might be affected by documentaries with racist ideology. But not all documentaries are real stories. It is urgent to label documentaries as verified resources or not.

Reason

Racist discrimination targeting Asian is rising around the world. This is not the problem only for my family but also for all Asians.
