On the 19th of September Azerbaijan after a 9 month blockade of the Nagorno Karabakh region commenced indiscriminate bombing of civilian populations within this area. This action is clearly aimed at ethnic cleansing of the region with Russian peace keepers supporting the removal of civilian populations into Armenia. In addition to these current actions Azerbaijan's president Aliyev and other government ministers have continually talked about the sovereign country of Armenia as 'Western Azerbaijan' and suggested that they will not stop their efforts until they have full control of Armenia. 
These actions are clear imperialism and are being conducted with the full support of the European Union who continues with large trade agreements with Azerbaijan and empty words of condemnation. This hypocritical stance of concurrently supporting this tyrannical regime while sanctioning Russia for similar actions needs to end. 
Therefore we request that the European Union ends its gas agreements with Azerbaijan until it ends its military offensives in Nagorno Karabakh, returns the recently occupied villages, reopens the Lachin corridor and removes it's illegal checkpoints.
