Mutlinational companies, including those in the field of digitalization, are making enourmous profit while maximally avoiding paying taxes. This results in hundreds of billions of Euros or dollars of financial loss for nation states around the globe.
Reason
In light of the corona pandemic, the world is facing a gigantic economic crisis. This is the time to call on politicians and decision makers in nation states, the EU, United Nations and others, to find a common solution for a fair global system to tax multinational companies, including those in the field of digitalization. It is time that they contribute their fair share to the global community.
