We in the Diaspora profess, Christians and Syria are One. We are scattered, yet we endure – a heritage of humanity that must not be extinguished.

We demand from the representatives of the (Status April 2026)

Justice, their history is inextricably interwoven with this land. The Christians in Syria are an indispensable part of society that preserves peace and culture. We invoke the One: the one, indivisible dignity of every human being according to Art1 of the Human Rights, applicable international law, and the UN-Charter.
While the global community pledges its commitment to human dignity, the Christian communities in Syria are fighting for their very existence and recognition under international law. We can no longer remain silent . The history of the 1915 Sayfo has taught us that Never Again must not be an empty phrase when one of the oldest cradles of humanity is shattered by persecution, displacement, and extinction. We are not seeking paternalism, but the guaranteed right to an equal and secure future in our ancestral homeland.

We call upon the United Nations, the European Parliament, and the Austrian Federal Government to
1. Rule of Law: Consistent criminal prosecution of all perpetrators before ordinary civil courts – with the strict exclusion of extrajudicial tribal settlements.
2. Principle of Official Prosecution: Attacks on minorities, their property, and Christian shrines must be prosecuted; these acts must be classified as serious crimes against the national identity.
3. Security: Immediate withdrawal of irregular armed groups of various nations from Syrian civilian areas.
4. Democratic Principle: Political participation of Christians as fully equal citizens and not as mere protected subjects.
5. Solidarity on the Ground: Direct support for Christian communities to preserve and sustain their autonomy and future in their homeland.

Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

Wir in der Diaspora bekennen, Christen und Syrien sind Eins. Wir sind verstreut, aber noch da – ein Erbe der Menschheit, das nicht ausgelöscht werden darf.
Ihre Geschichte ist untrennbar mit diesem Land verwoben. Die Christen in Syrien sind ein unverzichtbarer Teil der Gesellschaft, der Frieden und Kultur bewahrt. Wir berufen uns auf die Eins: Die eine, unteilbare Würde jedes Menschen gemäß Art 1 der Menschenrechte, dem geltenden Völkerrecht.

Während sich die Weltgemeinschaft zur Menschenwürde bekennt, kämpfen die christlichen Gemeinschaften in Syrien um ihre Existenz. Wir dürfen nicht länger schweigend zusehen. Die Geschichte des Sayfo 1915 hat uns gelehrt, dass ein Nie wieder keine leere Formel sein darf, wenn eine der ältesten Wiegen der Menschheit an Verfolgung Vertreibung und Auslöschung zerbricht. Es geht nicht um Bevormundung, sondern um das verbriefte Recht auf eine gleichberechtigte in der angestammten Heimat.

Wir fordern die UNO, das Europäische Parlament und die österreichische Regierung auf
Rechtsstaatlichkeit, Offizialmaxime, Sicherheit, Demokratisches Grundprinzip und Solidarität
sehe eng.

Jeder Mensch hat das Recht auf Gedanken-, Gewissens- und Religionsfreiheit.

نحن في المهجر نؤمن بأن المسيحيين وسوريا كيان واحد. نحن متفرقون، لكننا ما زلنا هنا - إرث إنساني لا يجب محوه.

تاريخهم متشابكٌ لا ينفصم مع هذه الأرض. المسيحيون في سوريا هم جزء لا غنى عنه من المجتمع، يحافظون على السلام والثقافة. نستحضر وحدة الإنسانية: الكرامة الواحدة غير القابلة للتجزئة لكل إنسان وفقًا للمادة 1 من الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان.

بينما يؤكد المجتمع الدولي على كرامة الإنسان، تناضل المجتمعات المسيحية في سوريا من أجل بقائها. لم يعد بوسعنا أن نقف مكتوفي الأيدي. لقد علمتنا أحداث سيفو عام 1915 أن عبارة "لن يتكرر" لا يمكن أن تكون مجرد شعارٍ جوفاء عندما تُدمر إحدى أقدم مهود الإنسانية بالاضطهاد والتهجير والإبادة. لا يتعلق الأمر هنا بالوصاية، بل بالحقّ المُكرّس في المساواة في الحقوق في الوطن الأم.

ندعو الأمم المتحدة والبرلمان الأوروبي والحكومة النمساوية إلى إعادة النظر في:
سيادة القانون، ومبدأ المساءلة الرسمية، والأمن، والمبادئ الأساسية للديمقراطية، والتضامن.

لكل فرد الحق في حرية الفكر والوجدان والدين.
