The petitioner calls upon the European Parliament to safeguard peace, stability and continued social and economic prosperity in Cambodia. The petitioner hopes that the EU will continue to champion Cambodia’s economic and social transformation. The petitioner is afraid that, due to the recent negative perception about the political situation in Cambodia, the EU may impose economic sanctions that would harm the most vulnerable part of the Cambodian population.
